Lesson 3: Reciprocity

Today's lesson was about working effectively with others and knowing when you need to work on your own. You all had very challenging practical work to complete.
Answer the following questions on behalf on your team:

1) What do you enjoy about working with other people?
2) Were there any difficulties when your group was completing the task?
3) Did anybody decide to work on their own to make the lesson more successful?

Hiya, it's Saz right here! Now I think this is what I gotta do so...
1) I enjoyed working with other people because then you get a variety of ideas and solutions to tough problems, also, you can ask for help from them instead of a teacher (Resourcefulness!!!)

2) The only difficulty was on what the main practical was about but when Mr Dawson explained it in detail we found it easy from there on out :)

3)Well one person decided for a little bit to work on there own which did help but when we asked her to help us she totally did and she made no fuss about it!

Cya l8r bloggers and classmates, go team Go With The Flow! Saz xxx

1)What enjoy about working with other people is that evry one has there own opinions and ideas and so you have a range of people working in a team it is a lot more fun. Also when working in a team different people are comfortable with different jobs so it all fits together to suit evryone.

2)One of the difficulties we faced was that we were missing some equipment so we lost some time trying to figure out how to get it, but as we were working in a team evrybody took there roles on quickly and we were able to get cracking ! :)

3)As we lost some time we thought it would be easier to all work in a group so we could get the experiment done quickly, and a few of out team members had already done most of the powerpoint independently so that had helped a lot as we were able to concentrate on the pratical with all team members helping.

Although the experiment didn't exactly as planed working in a team made it all the more fun. Go Team !!! :)

1) Working with other people means you can share your thoughts with one another and if your stuck with something, someone other than the teacher can help you. Also you dont have to do everything yourself and become swamped with work, you can divide it up between different people. 2) No. there wasn't. 3)Three of us took turns to do a bit of extra research on the laptop in the lab while the others carried on with the experiment.
Thanks again Dr Rajp and Mr Dawson for a great oppurtunity :D

I enjoy working with other people because, I believe that everyone has shared veiws and ideas, therefore, by comprimising a groups ideas, it will create a stronger end product. As a team we can achive things unachivable alone, but with the help of our team members we can up with more reliable information, knowledge and a unique understanding of the study by mixind knowledge.
At the begining of the lesson we were unsure of how to go about the practical experiment, as we did not have air in the tube and needed to change the glucose measurement. We tried the first count 3 times before we got it right. The other problem was that by then the water had cooled, but we soon got round that.
Sajadah spent most of the lesson doing more research and at seperate points we split, one or two of us preparing for the next stage in the experiment, whilst the others did the current stage.

Haii it's Georgie here posting for BoNkErS!
1)When I'm working with other people it helps me to understand everything. Like if I was on my own and was not sure about something, there's no one to ask for help. I enjoy the company!!

2)Well I wouldn't say difficulties, but when we had to collect our props/ items, no one told any of the other group so we ended up with two of the same object!

3)Well while most of us were testing the speed of the time the drop went down the tile, Sehar worked on getting the other liquids to test.

This is Georgie from BoNkErS! over and out! xx
